Shreya Patel is a mechanical engineering student at the University of Michigan–Dearborn, graduating in December 2025. She has interned at FANUC America for three years, gaining experience across both the General Industry Segment and the Automation Systems Group.
Shreya has worked extensively with collaborative robots and simulation tools, contributing to the optimization of the company’s payload compensation feature. Her hands-on approach and technical curiosity have made her a valuable contributor to multiple engineering teams.
Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Shreya enjoys designing mechanical components in SolidWorks and bringing them to life through 3D printing. Her passion for innovation and practical problem-solving continues to drive her interest in industrial automation and robotics.
