Part 1: SFTP Server Setup and Password Authentication

Begin by configuring the SFTP server on the controller and verifying all required prerequisites, including software version, licensing, and network connectivity. You'll create and test local user accounts, understand access level requirements, and establish secure connections using OpenSSH and WinSCP.

Part 2: Directory Navigation and File Transfer Operations

Build on the initial setup by exploring the controller's file structure and learning essential file management tasks. You'll practice navigating directories, transferring files between devices, and working efficiently with common SFTP operations.

Part 3: Advanced Security and Concurrent Connections

Prerequisites

• FANUC R-50iA controller running V10.10P/24 or later
• SFTP Server option (S612) installed
