Dec 05, 2025

This video explains how to set up an aux axis on the R-30iB Plus controller when working with "special robot configurations".  These are robots whose controllers require additional aux amps to control the typical 6-axis robot. The Tech Short walks through the Teach Pendant settings (hardware start axis, amp number, FSSB line, and, brake number)  for these special robots including the M-900iB/400L and 700, R-1000iA/130F, M-900iA/50, M-900iA/200P, and M-1000iA, M-2000iA. Additionally, the video briefly goes over using an auxiliary axis with robots that have secondary encoders such as the M-800iB/60.
