Secure File Transfer with SFTP Server - Part 2
Part 2 of our SFTP Server series: Explore R-50iA file devices, master navigation commands, and learn secure file transfer and backup workflows.
In Part 1 of this series, we'll configure an SFTP server on your R-50iA controller to establish secure, encrypted connections. We'll begin by verifying prerequisites: V10.10P/24 or later software, the SFTP server option (S612), and TCP/IP connectivity on port 22.
Next, we'll configure local password users, demonstrating why Setup level access is required by testing both restricted and valid accounts. Finally, we'll connect using OpenSSH and WinSCP, covering host key verification and basic file operations.
