Extended Palletize Icon
Sterling introduces the extended palletized icon, a versatile tool designed for stacking and unstacking workpieces in various configurations.
This video demonstrates setting up the align instruction on a tablet teach pendant for a CRX series robot. The align instruction creates a two-dimensional array based on three user-taught points, defining a plane and outputting positions for the robot to move to. Users can teach position points, set the number of rows and columns, and define stack positions for picking up parts. The video also covers setting the height for the robot, choosing position registers, defining a pallet counter, and implementing the align function into a program for a 3x3 array. Additionally, it includes using a for loop for the total part counter and utilizing two align functions inside the loop for picking and placing parts.

The Palletize Icon is used to stack or unload work pieces. By teaching three positions, you define a plane where the pick or drop position is calculated based on the number of rows, columns, and part height configured.
